This is a Pastel Green Crown Devon vase lamp. It is not really a member of the 10 1/4 inch vase lamp family but I thought I would include it here just so you are aware of it's existence. The lamps were manufactured in England by "Fielding Crown Devon" and sold by Aladdin Industries LTD in 1935. The burner used on the Fielding Crown Devon vase lamps was a model-12 burner that was exported from the United States to England.
It is not a glass lamp, but rather a ceramic vase, and bears the Fielding Crown Devon logo on the bottom. As with all ceramic articles the lamp is prone to cracks, chips, and crazing. Since the lamps were not sold in the United States they can be difficult to find there, but they do show up on occasion.
The "Fielding Crown Devon" logo on the bottom of the vase helps to confirm it is an Aladdin vase. You can also see a little crazing in the glaze on the bottom of this vase. Close attention should be paid to the lamp to check for hairline cracks and other flaws that plague all ceramic articles.
